Sunshine Makers (Crew)
Jentri Chancey
Writer/Director/Producer
Jentri
I want Lost in Sunshine to:
... dive into the authenticity of what inspired me to write about a small town to begin with. Its mystery, solidarity, and range of colors. Its ability to speak to people a million different ways, and touch perfect strangers. When you have the opportunity to view the town & its people as if you're 'peeking in' on something you shouldn't be, that's interesting. The mystery of that is what really inspired me to write about one, not just growing up in one.

I want Lost in Sunshine to:
...stand out for bold, specific choices. We're small, we're not Hollywood. Let's be as arty and unique and outside-the-box as we are inspired to be. I would like LIS to be ambitious in reaching out to and building its audience via its website. That means ample video, visuals, and audio clips of Behind-The-Scenes, improv moments and/or short clips with cast/characters, and more that I can't even think of right now. :)
Cynthia Litman Executive Producer
Cynthia
I want Lost in Sunshine to:
...demonstrate how we can overcome our infallibilities and find our authentic selves.
Iskra Valtcheva Director of Photography
Iskra
I want Lost in Sunshine to:
... capture a "World in a Grain of Sand" (favorite William Blake quote). Unite the cosmic with the commonplace, while indulging in a preciously stubborn, lighthearted irreverence.
Ia Enstera

I want Lost in Sunshine to:
... be honest, honest, honest - a story of a fallible character, surrounded by other fallible characters. No satans, saints, or saviors. No superheroes to save the day and tell us how to live.
Vicky Boone

Awaiting Vicky's cheerful, can-do response.
Terri Ewton Hair & Makeup

I want Lost in Sunshine to:
I want to see the story come to life and apply my skills to create the best possible look for our characters. Lost In Sunshine tells a story of some life altering decisions but it's ultimately a tale of coming to terms with the choices and consequences of those decisions: Redemption.
Laura Wallgren Music Superviser
I want Lost in Sunshine to:
Awaiting Laura's poignant words of aspiration.
Nevie Owens Editor

Awaiting the pointed, magnificent copy from Nevie.

I want Lost in Sunshine to:
... ditch men all together and just dive deep, deep into a girl's club, no boys allowed. It's a bit like a film for an all-girl school, where you can really display the grittiness and rawness of what it's like to be a woman. I can sort of equate this to the experience of listening to women share their childbirth experiences. It's a world we men can't begin to touch, yet it creates an instant bond, a very strong common ground among all women who have had the experience.

I want Lost in Sunshine to:
...shake up the scene in indie filmmaking. Hopefully this film will tear down the walls and encourage more artists to reach out and grab the apple they desire. You don't need Hollywood to make your dreams come true. I've watched Jentri work so hard over the years to attain and assemble this world-class team of individuals. With the help of this crew, I'm witnessing her dreams come into fruition and I couldn't be more proud.
Larissa Ness Theme Song
Larissa
I want Lost in Sunshine to:
...to encourage others to follow their dreams no matter how big or how many obstacles THEY THINK stand in their way. It all comes down to how much you want anything in life. I'll always remember a conversation I had once with a super famous successful songwriter regarding someone who had all this talent but seemed too scared to take a chance for once in his life. The songwriter told me, "If he really wanted it, he would be doing it already!"
