Want to know what we've learned about scripts and screenwriting over time?  Want to find out one of the ways we aim to stand out with our indie movie?  Check out this clip edited by Fabulous Dave of our editing team.  Thanks Dave, we love your work!

This spring we had a little hiccup. Our financing wasn't there to begin our April shoot, but our spirits, kick ass crew, and (some) pretty wonderful actors were hopeful. I can't tell you how much sweat goes into making these projects. Sometimes it feels like blood's actually being drawn. But there's a deeper gratification that comes with earning something you're so emotionally invested in. It's toe curling, really.  Once you feel the high of achieving something so challenging, like receiving the first check from an investor who believes in you, it's empowering, yet humbling.

Today, I was once again reminded why I love our producer, Lorie, so much! Our love for this story supersedes any other involving factors. Unlike other businesses, this one feels personal.

This dream sequence, Reflections, was inspired by Lost In Sunshine's main female character, Lyn Blue. This is meant to be from her perspective — the way she remembers her childhood.

I'd like to thank my brilliant dear musician friend, Doug Burr, for kindly allowing me to use his beautiful music, which added a unique, complementary layer to my (experimental) vision.

I hope you enjoy this (brief) glimpse into Lyn's past. Thanks for watching!

Here's the NEW video from Lost In Sunshine's, Sunny Side Up (series) featuring, (4) Psychics in the Cities!

Lorie filmed these intuitive, lovely ladies just a few days ago in her neck of the woods -  Minneapolis.

Let their magic enlighten you... or don't! But watch, have FUN, and come back again, y'all hear!

We will feature a new episode and colorful addition on the 21st of each month.

    Love, Jentri

A few weeks ago I caught Ryan Seacrest on Oprah, (yes, I'm an AI fan!) and to my surprise - I was profoundly inspired! He has an insane work ethic that would make most folks feel lazy. He said something that really resonated with me, so I want to share it with you today, in hopes that you'll be inspired to seek out the greatness in YOU, too (if you haven't!). I'm pulling from memory here, but he said that he was never the tallest, fastest, or smartest, but he had control over his time.

We have decided to create a LIS channel called, Sunny Side Up, that will be accessible on the front page of our site.

Every month we will feature a different video with a 'special someone' who will answer our question(s) that are relevant to our story's theme, and/or character(s). Basically, they'll be short interviews with folks whom our target audience "vibe" with, monthly, per a bi-monthly prompt that'll be relevant to LIS's themes. The first prompt will ask interviewees about their feelings/experiences with Destiny.

I had a dream last night that Jentri and I were in some sort of race or chase that led us to a hallway with two elevators.  We waited and waited for either elevator to open so we could get inside.  Finally, the one on the right opened.  It was very narrow and a little spooky looking, but we hopped inside, hoping the door would close quickly behind us.  It began going up, and we were anxious about what awaited us at the top.  We girded ourselves for any surprises as best we could.  This race/chase had been full of surprises so far.

Last night, I had a discussion with a few friends of mine about the difference between persuasion and manipulation. While manipulation usually gets the negative connotation, it is clear that the two are from the same family. Which brings me to my next point about the meaning and relevance of networking, as opposed to building/maintaining organic relationships.

OK, so we're not out in a scary forest eating unknown objects for supper with a dramatic jungle setting. Or being eaten by a giant somethin' or another in front of a green screen on one of J.J. Abram's films.  But we are indie filmmakers. And that's often scary enough. I suppose this post is a little venting, a little dishing, and a lot of hoping.

Stay in touch!

We'd LOVE to keep you in the loop with how the film is coming along.
