Man, you have to respect this good ole Texas heat... this past weekend, Marge and I went for a little walk with a couple of our doggies on a country trail nearby... I thought I had to worry about them getting hot, so I brought plenty of water. Before you know it, I was forced to stop... I started shaking, and I could hardly move... then my arms went numb! I swear, it was the scariest moment ever! I know better than to drink a lot of coffee too, and I've been doing that lately, so I know that contributed. I'm hypersensitive, and because of my anxiety the doc said to avoid it...but obviously, I didn't. So, anyhow, I grabbed my cell (which I never have with me!) and called 911. The operator hadn't even heard of Sunshine! BIG help! We asked what we should do, and she said, "Do whatever makes you comfortable." Gee, thanks, Genius. Then my hands got frozen in an awkward position! Nothing was comfortable!

So, Marge snatched the phone away from me, hung up on her, and called my log. He got there before any EMS did, and drove us home. Marge saved my life!!! And my log, too, I suppose.... I was so out of it... disoriented... and all that confusion just turned into panic.

Eventually, I was ok... after gatorade and a cool shower... but damn was that traumatic. I didn't feel right the rest of the day. Warning to all you Texonians - Texas heat should be respected like a Texas tornado.

    I am coming over this

I am coming over this afternoon ! with a whole case of this Power Aide, GatorAide, Recharge, whatever it's called. Damien stocked up on all these drinks and bars when he was training for that triathlon.

    And, a hat.

Sometimes I worry about you more than my own kids, darlin'.
