Today kinda sucks a big butthole. Marge called and told me the aunt she's closest with died. I feel terrible for so many reasons. The aunt's up in Amarillo, or somewhere around there, and Marge wants me to ride with her to the funeral. I can't tell her no. I HATE funerals, but I understand that that's terribly inconsiderate of me. Just trying to figure out how much I care about being inconsiderate. Marge is the coolest old lady ever, and I don't want her to ride by herself. But I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than make that boring ass drive. What to do... ? It's not like I'll even get to leave hot ass Texas!
Guess my stupid conscience is not leaving me any other choice! Time to pack up... she, or I should say, WE leave bright and early. Will take pics of any mangy motels we stay in for your amusement. I have to take a couple of my animals WITH me, too, 'cause they're my responsibility, and I can't depend on my log to look after them. So, it's us and two dogs in one small truck. Oh, plus she wants to visit with her relatives while she's there, so I'll be gone the whole ASHDOILXLKLDFI week!!!!
Kill me NOW.
But wait, kill me after I eat my chocolate peanut butter cookie. I can't take this.

I think it's really sweet that you're going with her, hon'. You DO have a soft spot in you (I knew it) - I won't tell anyone. :)
Don't forget to bring bottled water with you in the car. Road trips are dehydrating!
