I know as part of my 2010 list, I said I wouldn't be as 'judgmental,' so I'm trying really hard here...

But have you ever really thought about the people you ask advice from?

I think if we sat and thought about that person's life and how they've handled shit, we probably wouldn't find their advice so valuable... yet we do it everyday, or I do.

I ask a pot smoking fool, Johnny, who I actually adore, advice about my sex life and wardrobe, even though he doesn't have either.

I ask a single, homeless looking, smelly (on occasion), animal caregiver, Marge, who considers brown wallpaper decoration enough, advice on decorating my home when she comes over.

I ask Cassie, (no offense if you're reading this, C!) a person who has several kids and never been outside Sunshine, advice on filling my inner void, even though I know she'll always say I just need to eat meat if I'm depressed!!

The truth about advice is it's just a mental 'brain exchange' of information, that's sometimes no better than your own. So why even ask? Is it for entertainment value? Dementedness?

Anyone dare to give me advice here???

Meat does have B vitamins in

Meat does have B vitamins in it, Hon. That's why it's good for supporting moodiness.

As humans we have a tendency

As humans we have a tendency of self doubt about our own advice. Or at some higher levels we have answer about our lives and desire entertainment by interacting with others through coversation. We remain human to world around us through verbal contact.

    Yeah. I think you're right...

Yeah. I think you're right... 'cause I'm gettin' all warm and fuzzy inside - just having this interaction with you.

this is funny. i was just

this is funny. i was just saying to a girlfriend the other day... we think we figure out why we do certain things... searching the deep resources of our mind and soul... and we always miss something. if i was to say the answer to this may be companionship... that may be true... while on the other hand, i am a person who likes to make others feel needed...and then it goes on... i need to make others feel needed to feel good about myself... it seems we are a shoreless ocean of reason... purpose... endlessly conditioned with honest intent AND deception. thank god for grace... it may all be too lofty for us mere humans.

Whoa, Mama! This is a deep and twisted view. I like it.
