This is so gross, but I ran across Rick's (my boss) porn mags today. I'm not saying porn mags are gross, but the images it left me with of him are. I'm used to the ole guy pickin' his nose and shit, but I prefer to not know what he's doing when the door's locked. Kinda makes me sad sometimes. We all go home, even if it's to a log, and he stays here... to never leave work seems like a bit of a bore. I mean, Blue Top's got it's days when things get interesting, but it usually revolves around a hooker and an argument over who's gonna pay the bill.

I've got 5 dogs at my house right now, and I keep trying to convince Rick he should take one so he has some company. They're rescues that haven't been claimed, and it's the most I've had in a long time! I'm sure it's not the TLC he wants, but a little doggie love goes a long way. It's what makes most of my days worth anything! I come home, and no matter how down I get, they're always there to greet me with a Charlie Brown smile. But I know he won't, 'cause that's the kind of weird guy he is... I think he actually gets some pleasure out of being stubborn that way. Like me, in other ways...
