Yeah... It's Personal.

Today, I was once again reminded why I love our producer, Lorie, so much! Our love for this story supersedes any other involving factors. Unlike other businesses, this one feels personal.
We talked about our business plan options, and how each circumstance might present itself as an opportunity or disadvantage. We covered ways each plan might lend itself to something we can accomplish and still be proud of. We tossed around new ideas about how to cover costs, we'd otherwise might have to do without. The truth is, this is a mind bending, thought provoking film time we're living in — just trying to make our way.
The rage of social media seems so apparent to others, while it's obsolete with other businesses. We're in experimental times trying to break down the resistance. We're looking for the road less traveled — simply so that there's room on the road. We're the collectors of the film universe, seeking out the knowledge that will aid us in our expansion of efforts, while tossing aside the rest for a rainy day. We don't want to follow exceptions, but deep down (I think) we'd like to be one. We want to deliver something so powerful that it fills up a big room, and fills us up emotionally, too. In a way, we're kinda needy. :) But the results could be dramatic. The results could be Great.
We carry a profound, innate responsibility to the world when it comes to telling our stories. If not (one of) us, who else?
Are we to depend on Hollywood for all the deliverables? I mean, I like explosives, but I want my heartfelt moments of honesty and unexpected dry humor, too. I want to see an arm dangle out of an old car window that's not cut off. I want to watch films that make a statement. I want to see pictures that literally move me, therefore, commanding the respect of being called a movie.
Lost In Sunshine is giving me that freedom. It's an expression that I want to share with you all...
Won't you stay with me on this journey?
Yeah... its personal.
